Jamie Erickson opened Poppy's in 2012 with the mission to create simple, seasonal, beautiful + approachable food. Since then, Poppy’s has catered for some of the biggest names in fashion as well as numerous other corporate + private clients.
As a fourth generation New Yorker, Jamie named Poppy's after her Grandfather, Leo, who was a well known counterman at NYC's famous B+H Dairy. Food and hospitality has always been in her blood, and with Poppy's, Jamie hopes to continue his legacy.
With opening of Poppy’s weekend cafe, Jamie loves meeting neighbors + customers face to face and seeing being a part of nourishing the Brooklyn community.
Jamie and her husband, Kevin, live in Red Hook with their son, Dylan.
